Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to support design review, construction supervision, and delivery of major high‑rise and large‑scale building developments in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. You will ensure structural works meet approved designs, project specs, and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of experience, with preference for GCC or Saudi experience, professional registrations, and a track record in site supervision, testing, and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers preferred.
• PE/CEng/MIStructE/MICE or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise structural construction activities for high‑rise and large‑scale buildings.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance.
• Review test reports and inspection documentation for structural elements.
• Witness concrete pours, reinforcement inspections, and load testing.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, façade, geotechnical, and construction teams.
• Monitor contractor performance against project schedules.
• Resolve structural technical queries and construction challenges.
• Identify non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in design coordination and progress meetings.
• Support value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining safety.
• Review variations, claims, and change requests for technical compliance.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and health/safety is maintained.
• Assist in handover activities and final as‑built verification.
• Prepare inspection reports and progress updates.
