Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Structural Specialist in Riyadh to support design services across major heavy civil and transportation infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing design submissions, calculations, documents, and contractor submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance while coordinating with architectural, MEP, civil, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in structural design and review, with proficiency in common design tools and Saudi codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering design, structural review, and construction support.
Proven experience with heavy civil, rail, metro, transit, or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

Review project standards, specs, drawings and calculations for alignment with requirements.
Assess design-build submissions and technical deliverables for compliance with client specs.
Review contractor submittals including materials, construction methods and proposals.
Support senior engineers with technical reports, investigations, and design review summaries.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of structural design activities.
Attend inspections, tests, and site verifications as required.
Provide RFI responses and resolve design-related issues affecting safety or progress.
