Job summary

Albawani in Riyadh is seeking a Design Manager (Structural) to lead the delivery and coordination of all structural design outputs on a Design & Build project. You will oversee Technical Coordinators and ensure buildable, safe, and compliant solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in structural engineering leadership, strong knowledge of codes and authority approvals, and effective collaboration with architecture, MEPF, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design on large Design & Build projects.
• Proven ability to lead structural teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary groups.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards and authority approvals in the project location.

Responsibilities

• Own and control the structural design development across all project stages.
• Approve and be accountable for all structural drawings, calculations, and submissions.
• Direct Technical Coordinators to resolve clashes and constructability issues.
• Ensure coordination with architectural, MEPF, geotechnical, utilities, and temporary works.
• Lead risk management and design decisions to ensure safety and buildability.
• Plan and drive the structural design programme to meet milestones.
• Maintain QA/QC for structural design outputs.
• Act as technical authority for all structural design matters.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and value engineering.
