Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Mechanical Engineer II, Stator/Rotor for its resident product engineering team in the plant. The role emphasizes leading by example and solving complex challenges to deliver impactful results in ambiguous environments.

You will collaborate across Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Equipment teams to improve manufacturability, reliability, and production robustness while mentoring technicians and junior engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 4+ years automotive design/release experience.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years automotive design/release experience.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex component/system level problems using standard problem-solving techniques.
• Data driven proactive problem solving and root cause analysis for process deviations or quality issues.
• Troubleshoot Stator & Rotor sub-assemblies and interfaces with manufacturing processes.
