Job description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Senior Specification Specialist, you will be responsible for driving Jotun's success through decorative segment specifications. Promote products, engage top specifiers, developers, architects, interior designers and consultants for project acquisition, market share growth and profitable sales. Foster key relationships to enhance Jotun's presence, ensuring successful business in the construction projects sector and increased Jotun profitability.

This position is based in Jeddah and will report to the Specification Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Jotun's innovative solutions through establishing and developing new and existing business relationships to secure specifications among Specifiers (architects, interior designers, consultants and developers).
  • Manage the design process by proposing color schemes, samples, mood boards and by showing commercial, contractual and technical expertise to support securing projects.
  • Promote new products and finishes by suggesting innovation products in accordance with Jotun’s product focus and support the sales team in achieving targets by securing Jotun approvals and updating on project activities for successful specs to the sales process.
  • Maintain an updated database of construction projects and architects in Saudi Arabia and monitor the construction and paint industry market status, using data to promote and implement Jotun products for market leadership.
  • Update customer records in CRM. All ongoing and finalized specifications are to be entered into the CRM system. Both on specific projects or work-related, and make sure it is delegated to the sales team in the construction stage.

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sales & Marketing. Interior design or Architecture is an added advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Specification, Projects Sales from the building & construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
