Job summary

Ma’aden seeks a seasoned professional to design, manage and continuously improve its internship programs, building a strong national talent pipeline and aligning with Saudization objectives. You will partner with stakeholders to implement governance, measure KPIs, and report insights to HR leadership.

Responsibilities include developing policies, onboarding standards, and program governance, while ensuring compliance and measurable development outcomes for interns across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Master's degree or professional HR certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent development, early careers programs, or workforce planning.
  • Proven experience designing and managing large-scale internship or graduate programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internship strategy aligned with business growth and future skill needs.
  • Translate workforce insights into targeted internship pipelines.
  • Support Saudization and national talent development objectives.
  • Design and maintain internship policies, governance frameworks, and operating models.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, institutional requirements, and internal HR policies.
  • Standardize onboarding, learning plans, supervision, and evaluation processes.
  • Act as subject matter expert for internship and early-career programs.
  • Guide internship coordinators and business supervisors to success.
  • Track and report KPIs (intake, completion, conversion to employment, performance, satisfaction).
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Support audits and strategic workforce reporting.

Job Purpose

To design, manage, and continuously improve Maaden's internship programs to build a strong national and future talent pipeline, enhance employer branding, and ensure alignment with workforce planning, Saudization objectives, and long-term business needs. The role ensures internships deliver meaningful development outcomes for interns while creating measurable value for Maaden.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute Maaden's internship strategy aligned with business growth plans and future skill requirements.
  • Translate workforce planning insights into targeted internship pipelines.
  • Support Saudization and national talent development objectives.
  • Design and maintain internship policies, governance frameworks, and operating models.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, institutional requirements, and internal HR policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Experience

  • Proven experience designing and managing large-scale internship or graduate programs.
  • Experience in heavy industry, mining, energy, or large national organizations is an advantage.
