Job summary

Hill International is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to develop and maintain project schedules using project management software and to monitor progress for timely progress and risk mitigation. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to align schedules with project objectives and prepare mitigation strategies.

You will provide regular status updates and support budget and resource planning while upholding Hill’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in related field on national / international major initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in project Scheduling control.
  • Extensive experience in managing and prioritizing projects schedules.
  • Ability to present schedules and requirements to senior management and government authorities.
  • Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure project schedules.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules using project management software, while closely monitoring progress to identify potential delays or areas of concern. Works collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align schedules with overall project objectives and to develop effective mitigation strategies for identified risks. Provides regular status updates to project teams and management, supported by data analysis to identify trends and improve overall project performance. Manages schedule change requests, ensuring all updates are accurately documented and communicated. Actively participates in project meetings, offering input on scheduling and control matters, and supports the development of project budgets and resource plans. Continuously seeks opportunities for process improvement by implementing best practices, while ensuring full compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies and procedures. Carries out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
