Hill International is recruiting a Senior Scheduling Control Engineer in Riyadh Province. The work is programme control across the commission rather than the planning of one package. The engineer builds and maintains the project schedules, watches progress against them, and identifies where delay is forming before it arrives.
Mitigation is then worked up with the project managers and the other stakeholders. Schedule change requests are managed by the post, and the posting is explicit that changes must be documented and communicated rather than absorbed quietly into a reissued programme. Project data is reviewed and analysed for the trends in it, and the engineer is expected to bring process improvement out of that analysis.
Schedules are developed jointly with the construction and engineering teams so that the programme matches what those teams are actually committing to. The engineer attends project meetings on scheduling and control matters, reports project status to the teams and to management, and supports the project managers on budgets and resource plans.
Hill asks for a degree in engineering or accountancy and at least fifteen years on major national or international developments, with extensive scheduling control experience and a record of managing and prioritising project schedules. The post holder presents plans and requirements to senior management and to government authorities, and written and spoken fluency in Arabic and English is required.
