Job summary

Hill International is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to develop and maintain project schedules using project management software and to monitor progress for timely progress and risk mitigation. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to align schedules with project objectives and prepare mitigation strategies.

You will provide regular status updates and support budget and resource planning while upholding Hill’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in related field on national / international major initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in project Scheduling control.
• Extensive experience in managing and prioritizing projects schedules.
• Ability to present schedules and requirements to senior management and government authorities.
• Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure project schedules.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain projects schedules using project management software.
• Monitor project progress and identify delays or concerns.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
• Provide regular updates on project status to teams and management.
• Review and analyze project data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to ensure schedules align with project goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Manage schedule change requests and document communications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and control matters.
• Support project managers in developing budgets and resource plans.
• Adhere to Hill International quality, environmental, safety and health policies.
