Job summary

WSP in the Middle East seeks skilled Material Inspectors to join our Riyadh team for a prestigious road infrastructure project. You will oversee material testing, sampling, and QA/QC to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards on roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years in construction consultancy, a diploma or degree in Materials or Civil Engineering, and valid SCE registration. Strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction consultancy for road infrastructure projects.
• SCE registration as Material Technician or Material Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of testing methods and quality control procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Oversee quality of materials used in construction, including asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Perform on-site sampling, testing, and analysis as required.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for adherence to design and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on material quality, test results, and non-conformities with corrective actions.
