Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Risk Lead / Risk Engineer for the Expo 2030 Riyadh project to drive project-level risk management, maintain registers, and run QSRA analyses. You will coordinate with PMC, ERC, and project controls to ensure timely, evidence-based risk actions and reporting.

You will develop and run quantitative risk assessments, challenge responses, and support governance and continuous improvement across the programme. Saudi experience and senior risk credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, programme management, project controls, or project risk management.
• Demonstrated experience leading qualitative risk reviews, issue reviews, and cross-functional risk workshops on major projects or programmes.
• Hands-on experience building and running QSRA models in Safran Risk at project level; program-level modelling preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000 and recognized project risk management practices; professional risk or project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate project risk and opportunity reviews and issue review sessions with PMC, ERC, Project Controls, Planning, Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain risk and issue registers in ARM with clear ownership, scoring, and response strategies.
• Challenge risk and action owners on adequacy and practicality of mitigation actions.
• Monitor overdue actions, identify barriers, and escalate delays to the Risk Manager.
• Confirm proposed closures are evidenced and residual exposure reassessed.
• Develop, validate, run, and maintain QSRA models for project and programme analysis.
