Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to support railway projects. You will assess bridges, culverts and building structures, review drawings and reports, and supervise construction to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with design teams, contractors and authorities, perform on-site inspections, approve method statements, and contribute to value engineering while delivering robust and reliable structural solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in structural engineering, with 12+ years of experience.
• Experience with railway structures and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oversight on all structural aspects of railway projects.
• Review and approve design drawings, calculations and shop drawings.
• Conduct thorough site inspections and monitor construction activities.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors and authorities to resolve issues.
• Prepare reports, method statements and technical documentation.
