Job summary

Confidential in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Senior QS Engineer to lead cost management across complex construction and infrastructure projects. You will prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, assess claims, and administer contracts (FIDIC) while coordinating with project managers, consultants, and contractors.

A strong background in CostX, Primavera, and Excel is preferred, with MRICS being advantageous for progression.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
8–12 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred).
Experience in cost planning, contract administration and claims management.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
Manage project costs, monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to project costs.
Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align on financial matters.
Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
