Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior QS Engineer to lead cost management, contract administration, and financial control across major construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role demands expertise in cost estimation, risk assessment, and liaison with project teams to ensure financial alignment throughout the lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, 8–12 years of relevant experience, proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts; FIDIC preferred.
• Experience in cost planning, contract administration, and claims management.
• Proficiency with CostX, Primavera and Excel.
• MRICS certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Manage project costs, including monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to project costs.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on financial matters.
• Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
