Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a QA/QC Instrument Engineer (Saudi National) to lead instrumentation quality assurance across oil & gas maintenance projects. The role emphasizes supervision, inspection planning and safe execution in line with international standards.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor degree in engineering with strong communication skills and proven leadership within large organizations, ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance.
Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Responsibilities

Supervise instrumentation progress of works, installation and commissioning.
Plan and control inspection of all instrumentation works.
Experience in testing and commissioning of instrumentation works.
Monitor final inspection of completed instrumentation before handover to client.
Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract compliance.
Review instrumentation materials submittals for contract compliance.
Review instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance.
Implement the Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
Review as-built drawings and manuals, ensuring safety compliance.
Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
Comply with SHE procedures prior to and during work.
