Job summary

KBR in Jubail is seeking a QA/QC Instrument Engineer to supervise instrumentation progress, inspections and commissioning across units. The role requires strong QA/QC knowledge, effective leadership, and adherence to safety procedures in a major oil and gas setting.

The candidate will review shop drawings, submittals and calculations, implement QA plans, and ensure compliance with contract documents and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive organization.
• Proven leadership skills in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & follow up instrumentation progress of works, installation and commissioning.
• Plan and control inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities.
• Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract compliance.
• Review instrumentation materials submittals, specifications and calculations.
• Implement the SATORP Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with all SHE procedures; promote reporting of Unsafe Acts and Conditions.
