Job summary

Dewan Consultants is hiring a QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical) for an Oil & Gas project in KSA. You will independently manage QA/QC from material receipt through final inspection, ensuring inspection, welding, coating, and MDR compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in QA/QC, experience in tank fabrication, piping and structural welding, and strong coordination with clients, consultants and TPI inspectors. Proactive issue resolution and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas/Industrial fabrication.
Experience in tank fabrication, piping, structural and welding works.
Capable of independent QA/QC from material receipt to final inspection and handover.
Good knowledge of fit-up, welding, NDT, dimensional and coating inspections.
Able to review drawings, specifications and ITPs to identify inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead QA/QC activities from material receiving through final inspection and handover.
Coordinate with Client, Consultant and TPI inspectors to ensure compliance.
Identify and resolve quality issues on shop floor/site with Production/Engineering teams.
Manage NCRs, punch points and inspection requests to closure.
Prepare/maintain MDR and final QA/QC documentation.
