Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Welding Inspector in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing welding and mechanical inspections throughout fabrication and construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, procedures, and international codes.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with 3-7 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors. Certification as a Welding Inspector is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in welding inspection and mechanical QA/QC.
• Certified Welding Inspector qualification preferred (CSWIP or AWS-CWI).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of welding and mechanical installation activities.
• Verify welding procedures and qualifications prior to activities.
• Coordinate and witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
