The ideal candidate holds a PMP certification, has 6+ years of event management experience on the supplier side, and demonstrates strong Arabic/English communication and on-site decision-making capabilities.

Senior Project Manager - Events

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

With over 17 years of operational history, the company has delivered 1,200+ projects across 400+ clients, spanning government entities, semi-government organizations, and the private sector. Their service portfolio covers exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, and seasonal activations.

Role Overview:

The company is hiring a Senior Project Manager to take full end-to-end ownership of large-scale event and conference projects across Saudi Arabia. This is a senior individual-contributor role for an experienced events professional who combines deep technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness and supplier management skills. The successful candidate will manage complex, multi-track events from brief to closeout while maintaining cost control, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and multi-track events across Saudi Arabia.
• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, on-site delivery, handover, and closeout.
• Run multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality across all workstreams.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), issue RFQs, evaluate suppliers, conduct commercial negotiations, and control project costs.
• Manage and coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams throughout delivery.
• Apply technical knowledge across staging, AV, LED, lighting, fabrication, exhibition booths, branding, and event technologies.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks; make on-site decisions under pressure during live events.
• Leverage an established network of Riyadh-based event suppliers for efficient procurement and execution.
• Use Odoo ERP (Project Management module) for project tracking, task management, timelines, resource allocation, and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

The following are mandatory criteria:

• Currently based in Riyadh.
• Holds a valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in event and conference project management.
• Background exclusively on the supplier side: Event Management Company, Production House, or Event Agency.
• Demonstrated track record managing large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and multi-track events in Saudi Arabia.
• Full project lifecycle experience: planning through execution, handover, and closeout.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience managing suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Experience preparing BOQs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and project cost control.
• Strong technical understanding of staging, AV, LED screens, lighting, fabrication, exhibition booths, branding, and event technologies.
• Proven ability to handle live event challenges and on-site decision-making.
• Established network of event suppliers in Riyadh.
• Fluent in Arabic with strong English communication skills sufficient for business needs.
• CV must include a clear summary of major conferences, exhibitions, and events managed, including the candidate's specific role and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Odoo ERP, specifically the Project Management module, for task management, timelines, resource allocation, and project reporting.
