The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects and services, leading execution from initiation through closure. This role drives delivery excellence by overseeing multiple workstreams, coordinating senior security, IT, and engineering stakeholders, and directing cross-functional technical teams to deliver physical and cybersecurity initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager ensures rigorous planning, proactive risk and dependency management, and disciplined execution, while providing clear governance, decision support, and executive-level reporting. Key deliverables include integrated project plans and schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), cost and resource estimates, risk and issue management artifacts, delivery recommendations, and concise executive communications that enable informed decision-making and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact programs and multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business and customer objectives.
- Provide delivery leadership across multiple workstreams, coordinating senior security, Procurement, finance, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce project governance, delivery frameworks, and performance controls to ensure predictable and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and approve integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies for large or high-risk initiatives.
- Lead proactive risk, issue, and dependency management, driving timely escalation and resolution to protect delivery commitments.
- Oversee financial management, including budget control, forecasting, change control, and benefit realization.
- Review, challenge, and approve business cases, delivery approaches, and recommendations for cybersecurity and technology initiatives.
- Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and briefings, translating delivery status, risks, and decisions into clear management insights.
- Manage senior stakeholder expectations and relationships, acting as the primary escalation point for delivery and governance matters.
- Direct and coordinate internal teams, vendors, and partners across planning, implementation, migration, and cut-over phases.
- Ensure projects and programs are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and in accordance with quality and security requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying delivery efficiencies, standardizing best practices, and enhancing project management maturity.
- Mentor and guide Project Managers and delivery teams, supporting capability development and consistent execution standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management or related discipline
- PMP or equivalent certification
- 6+ years of experience
