Job summary

Al Sharif Contracting & Commercial Development Co. Ltd. seeks an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to oversee all project phases from planning to handover.

The role requires coordinating with design teams, vendors, and clients to ensure milestones are met. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in the energy sector, with strong skills in budgeting, stakeholder management, and IFC drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the energy field.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and client management.
• Good understanding of electrical design and IFC drawings.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases including planning, design, execution and closing.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and cost-effective selections.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure activities remain aligned with the approved budget.
• Monitor project activities and manage changes to the Scope of Work (SOW) to meet client requirements.
• Prepare and submit client invoices according to the project schedule.
• Follow up with vendors and clients on delivery and project progress.
• Review basic detailed and IFC designs and coordinate design interfaces and responses to client comments.
• Ensure timely project completion with minimum snagging during handover.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project status reports to the Project Manager.
