Job summary

Wood is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, with frequent site visits to project sites and suppliers. You will review contractor procurement plans, support vendor evaluations, manage purchase orders, and coordinate with engineering teams to align vendor data with project deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of procurement experience in mining/oil & gas/EPC/EPCM sectors, strong contracting knowledge, and a Bachelor's degree. Saudi nationals preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience in mining/oil & gas/EPC/EPCM sectors.
• Strong knowledge of contracting principles and processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Saudi nationals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess EPCM contractor procurement plans, material requisitions and schedules.
• Support technical evaluation of vendor proposals, bid tabulations, and commercial bid evaluations.
• Review and validate purchase orders, vendor documentation, logistics strategies and QA processes.
• Participate in FATs, vendor inspections and expediting activities.
• Support management of long-lead items, equipment tracking and vendor issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely integration of vendor data into project deliverables.
