Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks a Senior Procurement Coordinator for a Jubail-based EPC/PMC petrochemical project. You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, develop strategies, and ensure compliance with client standards and international terms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 15 years of oil & gas procurement experience, plus strong SAP/Oracle ERP skills and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Construction, and QA/QC teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or large industrial projects.
• Experience with Saudi Arabia projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPC procurement cycles, vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, PO management, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for EPC/PMC projects in line with client standards.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, including sourcing plans and vendor selection.
• Prepare RFQs, technical and commercial evaluations, and purchase orders.
• Negotiate with suppliers to optimize pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Finance, and QA/QC teams.

Client is looking for: Procurement Coordinator (Senior Level)

Project Type: EPC | PMC | Petrochemical

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement within oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or large industrial projects
• Prior experience working on Saudi Arabia projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of EPC procurement cycles, vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, purchase order management, and contract administration
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and construction materials/equipment
• Familiarity with Aramco, SABIC, RC, and international standards
• Hands-on experience with SAP / Oracle ERP systems for procurement and materials management
• Deep understanding of commercial terms, Incoterms, international logistics, and customs clearance requirements
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and vendor-performance improvements
• Experience managing procurement activities during project execution, commissioning, and shutdown/turnaround (TA)
• Excellent communication skills, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional coordination

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for EPC/PMC projects ensuring compliance with client standards and project specifications
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, including sourcing plans, vendor selection, and market analysis
• Prepare and review RFQs, technical bid evaluations (TBE), commercial bid evaluations (CBE), and purchase orders
• Manage supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, optimized delivery schedules, and favorable commercial terms
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Controls, Construction, Finance, and QA/QC teams to ensure material and equipment alignment with project needs
• Oversee the procurement of critical project items such as:
• Mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, static & rotating equipment)
• Electrical & instrumentation materials
• Structural steel & construction materials
• Monitor vendor performance, lead times, manufacturing progress, FAT/SAT schedules, and delivery compliance
• Resolve procurement‑related issues including delays, technical clarifications, and contract deviations
• Ensure procurement documentation accuracy including PO updates, procurement logs, expediting reports, and vendor correspondence
• Support logistics coordination for international shipments, customs clearance, and on-site delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and continuously develop new sources to diversify the supply chain
• Ensure all procurement processes adhere to company policies, client requirements, and international standards
• Contribute to procurement risk assessments, cost optimization initiatives, and continuous process improvement
