Job summary

Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to provide risk engineering support for major projects and operating assets. The successful candidate will help establish defensible controls for high-consequence hazards.

You will conduct QRA, HAZID/HAZOP, LOPA studies, write concise technical reports, and mentor junior engineers. This is a full-time on-site role with expatriate considerations and relocation support as arranged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years of process-safety and industrial risk-assessment experience.
• Ability to write accurate technical reports and communicate in English with teams and management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or review QRA, consequence modelling, BRA and HIPS studies.
• Support HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA workshops for new and modified facilities.
• Assess hazards at gas plants, refineries, pipelines, and offshore facilities.
• Prepare concise risk-reduction recommendations and safety-in-design assessments.
• Review procedures, train and mentor other loss-prevention engineers.
