Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking a senior process modeling specialist to lead development and validation of detailed process simulation models for refinery and hydrocarbon facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering required; MSc/PhD preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in process modeling and simulation in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of gas and refinery operations and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate detailed process simulation models for refinery units and hydrocarbon processing.
• Build and optimize kinetic reactor models for complex reactions and conditions.
• Provide technical leadership guiding cross-functional teams in modeling solutions.
• Lead development of digital twin solutions integrating models with analytics and optimization.
• Troubleshoot operational issues by analyzing simulation results and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications.
