Job summary

Mace Group in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead planning and scheduling across a major mixed-use development. This on-site role centers on applying planning methods, earned value management, and guiding project teams to deliver objectives within the PMO framework.

You will need a relevant degree and professional certification, strong stakeholder management, and experience handling high-value residential/infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and chartered membership or recognised professional certification are preferred.
• Professional membership (or working towards it) with APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering residential and/or infrastructure projects within a PMO environment.
• Strong capability in managing complex programmes and schedules, translating data into clear insights for a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, project teams, and senior leaders.
• High attention to detail, supported by relevant construction-related qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the application of planning and scheduling methods, tools, and techniques.
• Apply strong knowledge of project controls and earned value management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Influence complex requirements, providing clear analysis and corrective measures.
• Manage and develop teams delivering planning and schedule management services.
• Guide clients to adopt proposals and recommendations with confidence.
• Undertake tasks required to fulfil project and assignment objectives.
• Drive excellence in planning and project controls, aligned with Mace standards.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
