Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Planning Manager in Jeddah to develop, manage, and execute project controls across planning, scheduling, and cost analysis. You’ll oversee small to medium projects, applying extensive experience in controls and construction processes.

You will mentor staff, verify baseline progress, and prepare client reports while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and startup teams on time-critical activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in planning and scheduling on large projects.
• Led large PC/Planning departments with top international firms on prestigious projects.
• Expert in Primavera P6, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office; Power BI is advantageous.
• Experience planning and monitoring construction activity progress.
• Experience analyzing contractor delay claims and reporting to clients.
• Mentor team and contractor staff in scheduling and progress reporting.
• Experience with three-week look-aheads and time-critical schedules.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions.
• Supervise personnel administration and training of technical staff.
• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Apply advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and startup processes.
• Plan, organize, direct, and present schedule products with minimal supervision.
• Ensure detailed accurate schedules are prepared and maintained by the Contractor.
• Prepare schedules in P6 and Excel; review contractor progress reports.
• Prepare progress reports for the client and verify WIRs and daily data.
• Analyze contractor delays and report findings; mentor staff on scheduling.
• Monitor site progress and report deviations from baseline.
