A leading contracting company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, controlling resources and costs, and delivering high-quality analytical reports to ensure projects are executed in line with approved plans and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress and analyze schedule and cost variances, recommending corrective actions.
• Control project resources and costs in alignment with approved plans.
• Prepare professional periodic reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Coordinate with project teams, technical office, and procurement to ensure integrated planning.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
• Review and approve contractors’ and suppliers’ schedules.
• Support project management in decision-making related to scheduling and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with company planning standards and policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects.
• Proven experience in schedule development, progress monitoring, resource and cost control, and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong experience in reporting and dashboard development using Power BI.
• At least 2 years of experience in Saudi Arabia with recognized contracting companies.
• Good knowledge of building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
