Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join a leading Saudi bank's technology team, designing and maintaining high-performance data solutions for the Operational Data Store (ODS). This hands-on role requires deep Oracle PL/SQL expertise and exposure to banking data environments.

You will build ETL routines from core banking systems, tune SQL/PL/SQL performance, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable, auditable data pipelines feeding core banking and

Qualifications

7+ years hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development in banking or financial services.
Strong Oracle DB knowledge (11g/12c/19c) with performance tuning and indexing.
Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL, and ODS.
Experience with large-scale banking data (core banking, AML, CRM).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Build and maintain ETL/data-load routines feeding the ODS from core banking systems.
Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and execution-plan analysis.
Design data models and support data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across ODS and downstream reporting systems.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather data requirements and translate them into database solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues within agreed SLAs.
Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and unit/system test cases.
