SylvCare for Healthcare Recruitment seeks a Pediatric Anesthesia Consultant for a leading tertiary healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. You will provide comprehensive anaesthetic care for infants, children and adolescents, supporting high-acuity surgical services and ensuring safe peri-operative management in line with international best practices.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in anesthesia with Western certification or equivalent.
• Fellowship in pediatric anesthesia or equivalent paediatric subspecialty training.
• Eligible for SCFHS Consultant Classification.
• Proficient in neonatal and paediatric airway, regional anesthesia, high-acuity cases.
• Experience in tertiary children’s hospitals or major surgical centres.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent pediatric anesthesia for a full spectrum of surgeries.
• Deliver anesthesia for high-risk paediatric patients (ASA III–IV).
• Lead difficult airway management and emergency resuscitation.
• Support NICU/PICU with neonatal emergencies and postoperative pain control.
• Perform regional and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks as part of multimodal analgesia.
• Participate in MDT discussions and perioperative planning.
• Contribute to quality improvement, audits, and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with SCFHS, JCI, MOH standards.
