Job summary

Asmacs is seeking a skilled technician to manage pulp furnish, raw material reservations, and machine runnability in a Saudi plant. You will coordinate with the machine tender, control chemical flows, and maintain inventory and logs for assigned areas.

The role emphasizes housekeeping, lean manufacturing practices, and safe, environmentally friendly work methods. English proficiency and DCS operation knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School degree with 5 - 7 years of experience in the same field.
• Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Diploma with 1-3 Years of experience in the same field.
• English Language skills
• Knowledge in DCS operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reservation for the required raw materials required for the shift.
• Maintain the furnish mix & stable flow of pulp in both long & short fibre to machine coordinating with machine tender.
• Recording the pulp, chemical consumption and pulp inventory.
• Write the required report and logbook and checklist report for the assigned area.
• Monitor the chemical flow & pulp furnish mix to maintain the machine runnability, stability & target consumption/ as per Machine tender /supervisor
• Accountable for machine performance, runnability & required overall equipment efficiency.
• Responsible for good housekeeping in the work place, follow & involve in the lean manufacturing, 5S activities in assigned area.
• Perform initial trouble shooting for the machine whenever needed.
• Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmental friendly methods.
• To perform any other duties assigned by his direct supervisor / manager
• Regular Communication with all related parties
