Job summary

Al Qaryan Group Danmark is seeking a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to lead design, implementation, and security of the enterprise IT stack across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include managing Cisco/Huawei networks, Fortinet security, Azure/M365, and DR/BC planning, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with cybersecurity and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of enterprise network and infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco and Huawei networking.
• Experience securing Fortinet firewalls and enterprise networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and security.
• Experience with Azure/M365, hybrid infra, virtualization, backup and DR.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA connectivity.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Huawei technologies.
• Manage and optimize network, server, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, M365).
• Configure and secure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, IDS/IPS, and security solutions.

• Create and maintain network diagrams, docs, standards, and SOPs.
• Lead infra projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with app, cybersecurity, and business teams for secure services.
• Evaluate emerging tech and recommend improvements.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, operation, and security of our enterprise IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a secure, resilient, and high-performing environment across our on-premises and cloud platforms, supporting critical business applications and services.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership, a security-first mindset, and excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Huawei technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Manage and optimize network, server, and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Configure, manage, and secure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate penetration testing, and lead remediation activities to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Lead infrastructure enhancement projects and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure performance and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise network and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-­on experience with Cisco and Huawei networking technologies.
• Proven experience managing Fortinet firewalls and enterprise network security.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, hybrid infrastructure, virtualization (VMware or Hyper-­V), backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments from an infrastructure and connectivity perspective.
• Experience in vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and infrastructure security hardening.
• Knowledge of enterprise ERP environments is an advantage.
• PowerShell or Python scripting experience is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security
• Huawei HCIP or HCIE

• Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect
• CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
