Job summary

Datamatics Technologies in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage enterprise IT infrastructure across Data Center (Azure and On-Premises) and Network Infrastructure environments.

The candidate will lead with strong operational leadership, drive AI-enabled IT Operations, ensure SLA compliance and security, and foster continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in IT Infrastructure and Network Operations.
• 5+ years in leadership or managerial roles managing large infrastructure teams.
• Experience in Managed Services or large enterprise environments is mandatory.
• Fluent in Arabic; English also required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure operations for Data Center (Azure & On-Premises) and Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN).
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of services; manage incidents and RCA.
• Enforce ITIL processes, drive service governance, and continuous service improvement.
• Interact with stakeholders, present reviews and improvement plans to senior leadership.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff; drive workforce planning and succession.
• Drive AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI in IT Operations and automate processes.
• Support modernization, cloud migration, and observability improvements.
• Manage vendors, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and lead enterprise IT infrastructure operations across Data Center (Azure and On-Premises) and Network Infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong operational leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation through AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI-enabled IT Operations.

This role is responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability, service reliability, SLA compliance, security, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations

Lead end-to-end operations of:

• Data Center Infrastructure (Azure & On-Premises)
• Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN)

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure services
• Managing proactive monitoring, incident management, problem management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Maintaining operational readiness and capacity planning for critical systems

Service Delivery & Operations Management

• Establish and maintain service levels aligned with business requirements
• Monitor and achieve SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets
• Lead major incident management and service restoration activities
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and service management best practices
• Drive operational governance and continuous service improvement initiatives

Security & Compliance

• Ensure enterprise infrastructure complies with security and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain network security controls, access management, and infrastructure hardening
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies

Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, customers, and infrastructure teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and senior leadership
• Present operational reviews, service reports, and improvement plans to executive stakeholders
• Manage escalations effectively and ensure high customer satisfaction

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary infrastructure teams

AI & Automation
