Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Naval Architect to lead vessel design and ensure compliance with marine standards. You will perform hydrostatic and stability calculations, develop GA drawings, hull forms, lines plans, and body plans, and contribute to weight and balance assessments for marine projects.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, review of technical documentation, and the delivery of high-quality design outputs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of naval architecture experience in marine, shipbuilding or offshore vessel projects.
• Strong experience in vessel design, hull form development, GA drawings and naval architecture deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Perform naval architecture design activities for marine, shipbuilding and offshore vessel projects.
• Prepare and review GA drawings, hull forms, lines plans and stability calculations.
• Develop vessel hull forms to meet project requirements for performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper design integration.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, classification rules and marine design standards.
