Job summary

Rukn mirage L.L.C. is seeking a Mechanical Inspector in Riyadh to oversee inspection of HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting systems on construction sites. You will review method statements, witness testing, document non-conformances and coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design teams.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of on-site inspection experience, and knowledge of applicable standards. KSA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in mechanical inspection on construction sites.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting installation standards.
• Experience reviewing mechanical shop drawings and material submittals.
• KSA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical installations including HVAC plumbing and fire-fighting systems for compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Review contractor method statements and material submittals for mechanical works
• Witness testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment
• Identify and record non-conformances following up on corrective actions with the contractor
• Maintain accurate inspection records checklists and photographic documentation
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and design team on mechanical technical queries
• Support the verification of mechanical materials and equipment against approved specifications
• Monitor contractor compliance with health and safety requirements during mechanical works
