Job summary

SOPC is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Architect to define and govern core technology architecture domains with a strong emphasis on Zero Trust, resilience, and cloud enablement. The role ensures secure, scalable foundations aligned with enterprise standards and transformation objectives.

You will lead architecture governance, design security models, and oversee risk, with a focus on enterprise-wide adoption and ongoing innovation and readiness.

Technology Architecture & Infrastructure Design

• Define and maintain technology architecture standards covering infrastructure, networks, identity, access management, and platform services.
• Design and govern cloud landing zone architectures, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant deployment across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Establish infrastructure patterns for compute, storage, networking, and platform services to enable consistent solution design and delivery.

Zero Trust & Security Architecture

• Lead the definition and implementation of Zero Trust security architecture aligned with international standards and organizational risk posture.
• Design identity-centric security models, network segmentation strategies, and security control frameworks that support enterprise-wide adoption.
• Define security tool assessment criteria and support vendor evaluation and selection processes in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
• Design and maintain disaster recovery and resilience architectures leveraging cloud-native and hybrid capabilities.
• Ensure recovery strategies align with business continuity requirements and are validated through design reviews and readiness assessments.

Technology Governance & Assurance

• Review and assess technical designs from implementation partners and vendors, ensuring compliance with approved architecture standards and policies.
• Enforce technology governance through structured architecture reviews, design approvals, and deviation management processes.
• Support risk acceptance and exception handling by documenting architectural impacts and mitigation options.

Innovation & Horizon Scanning

• Monitor emerging infrastructure, security, and platform technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Provide architectural input into proof-of-concepts and pilots that enhance SOPC’s digital maturity and resilience.
