Job summary

Omanyp, a well‑established family group in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, seeks an accomplished Enterprise Architect to define and govern the Group's architecture across business, data, applications and technology domains.

You will lead the Architecture Review Board, set cloud standards for Azure and multi‑cloud, embed security by design, and drive FinOps governance and high‑availability strategies for critical systems. Based in Dammam/Khobar with relocation if needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years in IT with at least 3 years at enterprise-architect level.
  • TOGAF experience and certifications preferred.
  • Experience in large, complex organisations.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies and multi-cloud governance.
  • Security and compliance knowledge.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing ability.
  • Proven track record of architecture governance and impactful decisions.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia (Dammam/Khobar).

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain Enterprise Architecture across business, data, apps, and tech.

  • Own cloud standards across Azure and multi-clouds.
  • Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability.
  • Lead FinOps and architectural cost governance.
  • Oversee ERP/CRM/HRMS architecture and data integration.
  • Embed security by design in architecture processes.
  • Advise stakeholders on technology choices across the Group.
  • Build architecture awareness across the Group.

Overview

Our client is a well‑established family group based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with a diverse portfolio of businesses. They are highly committed to investing in digital transformation and technology that will drive the organisation forward.

Responsibilities
  • Defining and maintaining the Group's Enterprise Architecture spanning business, application, data, and technology domains
  • Establish and steward architecture principles, standards, and reference models that provide guardrails for technology decisions across the entire Group
  • Operate an Architecture Review Board
  • Own the Group's cloud architecture standards across Azure, and multi‑cloud environments
  • Provide architectural oversight on disaster recovery, business continuity, and high‑availability design across critical systems
  • Lead cloud cost governance - establishing FinOps principles and architectural controls that prevent unnecessary spend at scale
  • Application & Integration Architecture: selection and adoption of enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, HRMS, etc.), and overseeing the architecture of data flows and data integration
  • Embedding security into the architecture process from the outset
  • Acting as a trusted adviser across the Group when it comes to all things Technology
  • Building architecture awareness across the Group
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years operating at an enterprise architect level
  • A strong background in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF (relevant certifications are preferred)
  • Experience working in large, complex organisations
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Expertise in cloud technologies; defining and governing cloud architecture in a multi‑cloud environment
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements
  • Effective communication skills to present complex technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • A track record of defining and governing architecture, and then creating business impact through ownership of architectural decisions
  • Based in/willing to relocate to the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia (Dammam/Khobar)
