Job summary

Team Saudi is seeking a leading sport psychologist to enhance athletes’ mental skills, resilience, and performance consistency across Olympic and emerging sports programs in Riyadh. The role focuses on direct psychological support, mental skills training, and wellbeing initiatives within the national team structure.

You will collaborate with coaches and staff, conduct profiling and readiness assessments, and ensure ethical safeguarding and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must lead one-on-one and group sessions on mental skills such as confidence, focus, coping strategies, and pre-competition routines.
• Must guide athletes in managing performance anxiety and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Must perform psychological profiling and readiness assessments as part of athlete development plans.
• Collaborate with coaches and support staff to integrate psychological principles into training environments.
• Oversee mental health screening and referral processes in collaboration with clinical professionals.
