Job summary

Team Saudi seeks a Sport Psychologist to deliver mental skills training and wellbeing support for athletes and coaches within our Olympic and emerging sports programs in Riyadh. You will run one‑on‑one and group sessions to build confidence, focus, and resilience under pressure.

Collaborating with coaches and staff, you will monitor progress, assist in profiling and readiness assessments, and support safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one and group sessions focused on mental skills such as confidence, focus, coping strategies, and pre-competition routines.
• Support athletes in managing performance anxiety and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Assist in psychological profiling and readiness assessments as part of athlete development plans.
• Work closely with coaches and support staff to integrate psychological principles into training environments.
• Provide practical advice on athlete motivation, behavior, and psychological readiness.
• Contribute to mental health screening and referral processes in collaboration with clinical professionals.
• Promote athlete wellbeing through proactive education and support initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and athlete progress.
• Provide feedback and insights to the Senior Manager to inform program development.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and safeguarding policies
