Job summary

Tas'Helat Marketing Co. (Fuel Stations Chain) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is hiring a Senior Legal Analyst to conduct research, assess international best practices, and advise on the development or update of laws and regulations related to local content and government procurement.

The role requires 3–8 years in legal affairs, strong research and analytical skills, and experience with KSA law. You will support the Law & Regulations Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law (minimum), preferably with professional legal certifications.
• 3-8 years of experience in Legal affairs management in a public entity.
• Legal research, investigation, data analysis, and legal correspondence, preferably in KSA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify international best practices for TMC guidelines and regulations and advise on updates to laws and regulations.
• Identify gaps in current laws, regulations, and processes for local content and government procurement; perform gap analysis.
• Suggest implementation guidelines for procurement law to achieve compliance with current laws.
• Assist in drafting local content and government procurement law/regulations for TMC’s mandate.
• Increase awareness among stakeholders on local content and procurement governance to maximize compliance with standards and legislative requirements.
• Provide advice to stakeholders on policies and regulations related to local content and procurement.
• Assist in resolving legal risks affecting local content and procurement; propose mitigation actions.
• Follow policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions for controlled, consistent work.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and deliverables to meet functional requirements.
• Perform other related tasks as directed.
• Handle Collection Claim transfers from collection to legal dept; manage commercial, legal, fraud, and labour cases.

Job Title: Senior Legal Analyst

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research to identify and assess international best practices that can be applied to TMC guidelines and regulations; recommend relevant practices to the Law & Regulations Sr. Manager and Executive Director to contribute to the development, removal or update of TMC’s laws and regulations.


• Assist in identifying gaps in current laws, regulations, processes for local content and government procurement by conducting a gap analysis to assess current laws,policies, and processes against best practices as applicable to KSA.


• Suggest implementation guidelines for procurement law based on constructive research and best practices in order to achieve compliance with current laws and regulations.


• Assist in drafting local content and government procurement law/ regulations related to the mandate of TMC.


• Contribute to increasing awareness among stakeholders on local content and government procurement governance in order to maximize compliance with the defined standards and legislative requirements.


• Provide advice to stakeholders on policies and regulations related to local content and government procurement as directed to enable t accurate selection of the best course of actions.


• Assist in resolving the legal risks affecting local content and government procurement, propose solutions and mitigation actions to overcome those risks in a timely matter.


• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.


• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.


• Perform any other related tasks and duties as directed.


• Collection Claim (after transfer from collection team to legal dept.)


• Commercial, legal, fraud cases, and labor cases.
