Job summary

WSP is seeking a highly experienced ITM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership for Intelligent Transportation Management Systems during the construction and commissioning of a major highways project in Saudi Arabia. You will act as the primary technical authority for traffic management systems and ensure solutions meet project specs and international standards.

Qualifications

Must have strong knowledge of ITS architecture and traffic management systems.
Experience coordinating integration and testing across multidisciplinary teams.
Proven leadership with on-site supervision of major ITS projects.
Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the lead technical authority for ITS components and ITMS.
Review and approve contractor submissions (designs, shop drawings, test plans).
Supervise installation, integration, and testing of ITS/traffic systems (TMC, CCTV, VMS, ATC, signals).
Ensure compliance with project specs, Saudi standards, and client requirements.
Lead FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities and handover processes.
Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures.
Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
