Job summary

Redfish Solutions are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with strong civil construction and large-scale interior fit-out experience. This site-based role will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinating and supervising an internal team of site supervisors and engineers, subcontractors and key suppliers.

You will be directly involved in planning the works and responsible for meeting project targets and deadlines, while communicating evolving scope to the site team and subcontract

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10+ years' construction experience, interiors, with 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and leadership on site to all trades.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and manage daily activities including logistics, materials, resources, sequencing, testing, and inspections.
• Act as primary site contact for subcontractors, vendors, landlord, and client representatives.
• Ensure Mall / Landlord rules and regulations are complied with at all times.
• Coordinate with the commercial team to capture variations and changes.
• Analyse BOQs and IFC drawings to define scope and identify gaps.
• Ensure materials meet specifications and approved submissions.
• Identify clashes and provide on-site solutions; raise RFIs as needed.
• Ensure quality inspections and timely rectifications.
• Maintain health & safety procedures and worker welfare.
• Attend and lead site progress meetings with Client, Consultants and Client representatives.
• Provide input to Management Reports.
• Control testing, commissioning, de-snagging, handover.
