Job summary

Havelock One is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee and execute on-site fit-out activities, ensuring safety, timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence. You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve seamless project execution and successful handover.

The role requires strong leadership, fluency in reading drawings, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Project to maintain detailed schedules and site reports while enforcing HSE standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in the fit-out industry.
• Proven track record with reputable fit-out contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings (shop drawings, IFC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing andexecuting all on-site fit-out activities, ensuring that works are deliveredsafely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with approved drawings,specifications, and quality standards. The role requires effective coordinationwith subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamlessproject execution and successful handover.

RoleDescription

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day siteactivities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings andspecifications
• Conduct daily site surveys andset out/mark interior finishes
• Plan, organize, and delegatetasks to foremen, chargehands, and subcontractors
• Monitor work progress againstthe project schedule and take corrective action where required

Planning& Reporting

• Prepare and detailed workprograms and project schedules (MS Project)
• Maintain accurate daily sitereports, including progress updates and photographic records
• Report progress, risks, andissues regularly to the Project Manager
• Track productivity and ensureefficient use of resources

Coordination& Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with all tradesincluding civil, joinery, MEP, and finishing works
• Liaise with subcontractors,suppliers, consultants, mall management, landlords, and clients
• Attend site meetings and ensuretimely follow-up and closure of action points
• Coordinate with factory teamsfor production and delivery of joinery items

QualityAssurance & Control (QA/QC)

• Ensure all works are executed inline with approved drawings, materials, and method statements
• Coordinate inspections andapprovals (WIRs, MIRs, etc.) with QA/QC teams and consultants
• Identify defects, raise snaglists, and ensure timely closure of all snags
• Monitor and close NCRs incoordination with relevant teams

Health,Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure compliance with all HSEpolicies, procedures, and local regulations
• Conduct toolbox talks andenforce safe working practices on site
• Ensure proper use of PPE andmaintain a safe working environment
• Report and escape anyincidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately

Material& Logistics Management

• Monitor material delivery,storage, and usage on-site
• Ensure materials are in linewith approved submittals
• Minimize wastage and preventdamage of materials
• Coordinate logistics and siteaccess requirements

Permits& Authority Coordination

• Ensure all required work permitsare obtained prior to execution
• Coordinate with authorities,mall management, and consultants for approvals and inspections
• Verify subcontractor workquantities and progress (as-built)
• Support cost control byminimizing rework and delays
• Review timesheets and workforceallocation

Documentation& Records

• Maintain proper documentationincluding drawings, RFIs, approvals, and site instructions
• Ensure all project records areupdated and accessible

Handover& Close-Out

• Prepare and manage snag listsand ensure full close-out prior to handover
• Support testing &commissioning activities where applicable
• Submit Operation &Maintenance (O&M) manuals
• Prepare project completion andclose-out reports
• Assist in final inspections andformal handover to the client
• Identify potential risks andproactively escape issues to the Project Manager
• Implement mitigation actions toavoid delays or cost overruns

CandidateRequirements

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in thefit-out industry
