Job summary

DeepSource Technologies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across servers, virtualization, cloud, storage, and security. You will drive high availability and performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires 7+ years in IT infrastructure, strong Windows/Linux administration, VMware/Hyper-V, and hands-on cloud experience with Azure or AWS in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Strong experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization technologies.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity/access management.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
• Strong understanding of high availability, business continuity, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in critical environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Manage Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching and troubleshooting.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent.
• Support cloud and hybrid-cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Configure and maintain storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance.
• Implement infrastructure security standards and hardening.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in high-availability, DR, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical documentation and diagrams.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
