Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support multidisciplinary infrastructure and land development projects across Saudi Arabia. Working with Project Managers, design teams, clients and stakeholders, you will coordinate technical delivery and manage activities to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering consultancy or infrastructure project delivery.
• Professionally qualified engineer (CEng, PE, SCE or equivalent).
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure or land development projects.
• Experience across CMP, DMP, Concept Design and Detailed Design.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure engineering disciplines including highways, utilities, drainage, earthworks and civil structures.
• Experience coordinating design teams and managing project delivery activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and commercial awareness skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure design teams across highways, utilities, drainage and civil structures.
• Support the planning, management and delivery of land development and infrastructure projects from CMP and DMP through to Detailed Design.
• Manage project delivery activities including programme management, resources, risks, actions and deliverables.
• Review design outputs to ensure technical integration, consistency and compliance with project requirements.
• Interface with clients, authorities, stakeholders and subconsultants throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project performance, budget, schedule and quality in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, programmes and resource plans.
• Coordinate design reviews, workshops and project meetings, tracking actions through to close-out.
• Produce and review technical reports, design briefs, methodologies and project documentation.
• Support business development activities, proposal preparation and client relationship management. Support continuous improvement and digital ways of working, sharing knowledge and lessons learned.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure and land development projects across Saudi Arabia. Working closely with Project Managers, design teams, clients and stakeholders, you will play a key role in coordinating technical delivery, managing project activities and ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional with strong technical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills. You will contribute to project delivery, proposal development and business growth while helping drive innovation, digital delivery and continuous improvement across our projects.

Candidate Specification

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering consultancy or infrastructure project delivery.
• Professionally qualified engineer (CEng, PE, SCE or equivalent).
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure or land development projects.
• Experience working across multiple project stages including CMP, DMP, Concept Design and Detailed Design.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure engineering disciplines including highways, utilities, drainage, earthworks and civil structures.
• Experience coordinating design teams and managing project delivery activities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and commercial awareness skills.

Desirable

• Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Experience working on major land development, mixed-use, transport or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing authority approvals and stakeholder engagement within Saudi Arabia.
• Arabic language capability (spoken and written).
• Experience working within a BIM and digital delivery environment.
