Job summary

CodeNinja Inc. in Riyadh is seeking a Senior IBM BAW Developer to design, build, and support enterprise business automation for a leading Saudi bank on a six-month onsite contract.

You will design end-to-end workflows, model BPMN 2.0 processes, and integrate BAW with core banking systems, ensuring quality in DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD with WebSphere/Liberty expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering BPM solutions in banking or financial services.

About Role

We're looking for a Senior IBM BAW Developer to design, build, and support enterprise business process automation solutions for a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is an onsite role, open to all nationalities, for a 6-month contract (extendable), requiring strong hands-on IBM BAW/BPM experience within a banking or financial-services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure end-to-end business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM
• Model business processes using BPMN 2.0, including human tasks, coaches, business rules, and process routing
• Integrate BAW applications with core banking systems and enterprise services via REST/SOAP web services
• Configure and maintain process applications, toolkits, and shared services on WebSphere/Liberty environments
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow designs
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and performance tuning of workflow applications
• Support UAT, deployment, and go-live activities, including environment promotion across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution for workflow-related incidents
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, process specifications, and deployment guides

Requirements

• 5+ years in BPM/workflow development, with hands-on IBM BAW experience
• Prior experience delivering BPM solutions within a bank or financial institution (mandatory)
• Notice period of 1 month, or immediate joiners preferred

Must Haves

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with IBM BAW or IBM BPM
• Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, Process Designer, Business Process Center, and Process Portal
• Experience with Business Rules (ODM), coaches, human services, and case management
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP web service integration
• Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server/Liberty and relational databases (SQL)
• Prior experience on banking or financial-services workflow implementations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Appian or other BPM/low-code platforms
• Exposure to IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
• IBM BAW certification
