• Defect identification with severity assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tower-to-tower condition assessments of HV/EHV overhead lines up to 765 kV.
• Inspect towers, foundations, hardware, conductors and insulators.
• Assess sag, ground clearance, spacers, dampers, joints and grounding.
• Review route records, design ratings and environmental exposure.
• Identify defects and grade severity based on impact.
• Recommend repairs, refurbishment, uprating or replacement actions.
• Prepare technical condition assessment reports with findings and risk ratings.
