Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks an experienced HSSE professional to supervise and coordinate health, safety, security and environment on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires leading audits, implementing HSSE systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance across contractor teams.

The candidate must have 15+ years of HSSE experience, strong English communication, and international project exposure, preferably in KSA. On-site work with global standards is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience managing all aspects of HSSE on projects or facilities.
• Knowledge of HSSE laws and regulatory/regulatory agencies permitting.
• Ability to prepare reports related to HSSE activities.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience)

Responsibilities

• Measure HSSE performance of the Supervision Consultant (Engineer) and Contractors and advise on action for improvement.
• Investigate direct and root causes of accidents/incidents and advise recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Record and follow-up on safety hazards and non-conformances to regulators and authorities.
• Coordinate with the PMC Project Manager/Construction Manager in implementing effective HSSE systems on projects.
• Liaise with the Employer, PMC (Hill International) and local authorities to ensure adherence to HSSE requirements.
• Train and induct staff on HSSE.
• Review and approve Contractors’ HSSE documents, submittals, drawings, etc to verify adequacy.
• Ensure full compliance with Project HSE requirements.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled HSSE audits and inspections and report non-conformances for corrective action.
• Keep informed of Hill International's policies and ensure compliance while employed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.
