Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to oversee health, safety, security, and environment across large-scale projects in the region.

The role requires coordinating with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure compliance with project HSSE standards and regulations. The candidate should have an engineering degree with international HSSE certifications, at least 10 years of global project experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with relevant international certifications.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in large-scale projects.
• Experience managing all HSSE aspects on projects or facilities.
• Knowledge of international HSSE laws, regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong report writing and English communication skills.
• Experience working internationally (preference KSA).

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and adequacy of HSSE across consultants and contractors.
• Measure HSSE performance and advise on improvement actions.
• Investigate accidents and propose preventive recommendations.
• Record and follow up on safety hazards and non-conformances.
• Coordinate with PMC/Construction Manager on HSSE systems.
• Liaise with Employer, Hill International, and authorities on HSSE compliance.
• Train and induct staff on HSSE.
• Review contractors’ HSSE documents and drawings for adequacy.
• Ensure full compliance with Project HSSE Requirements.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled HSSE audits and report findings.
• Stay informed of Hill’s HSSE policies and ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
