Job summary

Confidential is seeking an HSE leader to head the Health, Safety & Environmental function for a major luxury hospitality development in Riyadh. You will drive Zero Harm across construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring regulatory compliance and world-class HSE performance.

The role requires 12–18+ years in HSE, with 5+ years in senior leadership on Tier-1 international projects, and prior KSA/GCC experience. Strong stakeholder engagement with clients and regulators is essential.

Qualifications

12–18+ years HSE experience on major construction/EPC projects.
5+ years in HSE Manager or senior leadership roles.
Experience with Tier-1/international contractors.
Experience with luxury hotels/resorts or mega developments in KSA/GCC preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the HSE strategy, governance and assurance for the project.
Drive a proactive Zero Harm culture across all teams.
Ensure compliance with KSA HSE laws, SBC, Civil Defense, ISO 45001/14001.
Provide senior HSE leadership across construction, MEP, façades, fit-out, commissioning.
Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
Develop Emergency Response and Crisis Management plans.
Oversee health, welfare, heat-stress and environmental performance.
Establish HSE KPIs, dashboards and executive reporting.
Intervene to stop unsafe work when needed.
